Cryptocoryne wendtii in my aquarium
One of the most easy to keep Cryptocoryne for the aquarium. There are a number of variety for sale that can vary from color and hight. Personally I suspect that the one in my aquarium is form the green variety, but at this time I'm is not a 100 percent sure about this.
At this time (4-11-01) I only have this plant in my aquarium for about five weeks so my personal experiences are limited at this time. It took a pretty long time before this plant settled in my aquarium, but after three weeks I could see the plant had settled in my aquarium. At this time most of the old leaves are removed and most of the leaves of the plant are now newly formed submerse leaves. Noticeable is that the color of the emers and submerse leaves are of the same color in my aquarium, while these colors normally can vary a lot by most Cryptocoryne.
